Welcome to the Snowy Ride
The Snowy Ride is a motorcycle event run annually in the Alpine Region of NSW with the aim of involving motorcycle riders from all over Australia to raise money for Childhood Cancer Research. It is also an opportunity for riders to enjoy a weekend away with their friends and family and to ride some of Australia’s best and most picturesque roads.
Event Background
The first Snowy Ride was launched in 2001 as a request from Steven Walter, a young man who lost his fight against cancer. Steve loved motorcycle riding and asked that a charity motorcycle ride be organised to raise funds for cancer research and cancer care, “So that one day no other kid will have to go through what I’ve been through”.

We are back home at last, it has been a huge job however it has also been a huge result

Merchandise: There are a few items left in the embroidered shirts but no screen printed items, badges or patches. We will try and get a list on the web by the end of the week

Merchandise: All pre-orders of merchandise have now closed. Merchandise will be available in Cooma and Thredbo on the Friday and Saturday and some availability in Jindabyne on Saturday only of the ride.

Merchandising will start being posted in the week of the 13th Oct forward. Please note merchandise pre-orders close on the 5th October no extensions
